Which Sims Challenge Should I Do?

I’ll be completely honest, the concept of challenges in The Sims is new to me, and this is coming from someone who used to be really involved with The Sims 3. I had a YouTube channel, a blog, and everything, but I somehow missed the idea of Sims challenges, don’t ask me how.

It wasn’t until I started looking into getting into The Sims 4 that I stumbled across lists of different Sims challenges. I searched for a couple of them on YouTube, and some of them look intriguing. This might be something I do for the camera in the future, but for now, I’m still getting acclimated with The Sims 4, and think the following challenges look interesting enough to try once I get used to the game.

Rags to Riches Challenge

The rags to riches challenge sounds similar to something I used to do in the original Sims game. I used to purchase the most expensive lot I could so my family would have nothing to start except the basic furnishings in their new home. The challenge in The Sims 4 needs you to start with 0 simoleons, and, to be honest, I’m not sure how to do that (unless there’s a cheat code for it). It’s an interesting challenge, but I’ll have to look more into it before I attempt it myself.

Black Widow Challenge

I used to play the “Kiss, Marry, Kill” game when I was a teenager because my friends in middle and high school were mostly female, so I had to play whatever they were playing. It’s a fun hypothetical game to play, even in adulthood. However, this Black Widow Challenge takes the “kiss” out of the game and only has you play as a Sim who marries, then kills men for their money. It sounds morbid, I know, so this is definitely a challenge I’ll wait to try if I ever get back into YouTube.

Apocalypse Challenge

The apocalypse challenge caught my eye because I just started a blog here called “SURVIVE THE SIMS APOCALYPSE WITH ITOH-CHAN: PART ONE,” not knowing about this challenge at all. I had the concept in my mind of having the main character of the Itoh-Chan blog socially distance and isolate herself, so maybe it’s something I’ll try in the future. I know the rules for the apocalypse challenge are more in-depth than “keep your Sim inside,” so if I end up trying it with Itoh-Chan, it’ll have to be a different game file.

Have you tried any Sims challenges? Which one is your favorite?
